Will there be a predecessor to D900?

I am pretty much bent on the D900 but I'm afraid that since it is a slightly older model Samsung will soon release a new one to take its place. Is there any news on this?

+form factor/model. slider phones are a big plus for me.
+quality build
+camera is quite nice

-no 3g support
-afraid a D910 will be available in a few months?

Symbian phones don't interest me. Neither do music capabilities. I just want a small and sleek phone that is only used as a phone.

Thanks!! Feel free to name a phone that is very similar to the d900 in appearance as well lol

quinnyfizzle, you must mean "successor," not "predecessor."

If you're unbiased over less well-known brands, I could suggest the Asus j501 - a slimphone that's quite elegant to hold and behold for me. It's new and just recently released in Taiwan and is said to be well-received, It should be out elsewhere soon. I saw one in a local shop and is cheaper than the D900. The display is just something to see to appreicate. The display on the D900 won't hold a candle to it. I think there's a specs page here at MR.
