Right now, I'd say the best is the N73(ME), because it is the best allrounder imho with no obvious lackings.
In future, I'd say it is the E90 (and the N95, if battery life turns out to be OK)... Quote:

I have a M600i right now, and noticed that I really don?t need a camera, but I would like wifi and GPS. What do you guys think about buying an E65 and add a bluetooth-GPS and use Nokias free smart2go maps? What would the price be for that package, and would it be better in battery-terms? |

Whoever voted for N73, you didn't include the amazing special features it has, like freezing up while making calls, unable to being sending messages most of the times, screen freezing up when you close or open the camera slide and the only way to get out of it is turning off the phone by removing the battery.
And how can you forget about the camera features? That lovely purple haze, that awesome flash which pops up even if you have turned flash off. Oh, how can I forget mentioning the memory? Its has really got an awesome memory, when you try to zoom in to a 3Mpx resolution image taken by it to 100%, it says "Not enough memory, please close some apps" even if no apps are running. Isn't it an amazing feature? You can take high res shots but you can't view them in full size. Look at my 'outdated' N-Gage, it can view them in full res, duh I wish it had feature like N73 where you can view them only upto 50% res, I hate my N-Gage now. |

as of now i think n93 is the best smartphone, not only for nokia but for all the phones. actually its more of the best multimedia phone. most people sees it as a failure because of the "below expectation" still camera quality, but the phone is not only camera, it offers much more at faster speed.

michaelr and mtc2300, not all N73s have these bugs, but a large and very considerable percentage of N73s have these problems and they don't even get fixed by FW updates. I've really seen lots of people with these problems in their N73s. You have to be really lucky to get a problem-less N73.

it's not depend on specs ... wait for N95 bugs.
N73 is the best for now.

As of now - N73.
About bugs? They'll always keep on coming as newer and newer models arrive in market. More features -> more difficult to test -> more bugs. Later firmware updates will only reduce the bugs, not eradicate them totally. |

@shivan
Maybe you need to expand your circle of friends as whilst some bugs were there on initial release the new firmwares have resolved these issues. Unless of course these are Operator branded handsets and then anything is possible. Back on topic to me the N93 is the best by far especially when running the latest V20.0.058, start up reduced to 22 seconds approx from cold start, all apps open fast, even screen change to Laptop mode is instant. The N93 still has the best processor and graphics chip combination as copied by the N95 and coming E90. The screen is clearly visible in virtually all lighting conditions unlike Touchscreen phones, Properly encoded films and video's are stunning and the Music player using the AD-46 and a pair of Sony MDR-EX71SL is stunning with clear a detailed sound. Web browsing is both quick and a proper HTML browser means proper rendering of websites the Nokia /Safari browser is with out equal IMO. E-mail works without fault as does everything i ask of it, only thing possibly that could do with attention is still pictures but to be honest most of the time these are as good as from my N73 and only has the occasional hiccup.
