I dont understand why SE isnt using the same designers as SONY has for electronics. I LOVE Sony design in home electronics but in the mobile section they fail big time

Soneric, this is sooo ugly. I think there should be a w830i, or the path w800i started would end in w810i.

M608i loox promising though. How much of a rebate should leaving 3G mean? Will there still be EDGE?

The M600 doesn't have EDGE...but I think they will add it to the M608 (like K800 - K790)

The W850 will be a 3G slider.

First, the W850 seems to use that touchpad thing like the W950 for its d-pad.
Second, I hope the M608 is quad band with edge like W810.

W850 looks ok but I dont like the 'round' soft keys. It would be much more appealing if it is thinner than SE usually makes phones. For both the slider and the flip phones.

The slider phone looks totally awful ! The orange bar above the softkeys is too big, the softkeys themselves are too large, the keys below the softkeys are tiny, the dpad doesn't seem to match the design of the phone and is really weird . Hopefully tomorrow we'll see a better version when it is officially launched.

The top buttons near the earpiece look better designed than on the K800i, it seems to be one large rocking bar rather than two tiny buttons.

shouldn't generalize the company's designs like that, there's more than 1 design team. you have ugly SE123 and the k800i which i think looks pretty alright
