wow it actually looks even cheaper than i though! I highly doubt that the frame is metal, it is probably a chromium-plated plastic, the back part is like back to the past, really strange to hear some one likes that thing...

Looks like the previous pics were legit after all. Good design (but I personally prefer the X1's), and seems much thinner but wider than its older brother.

Now release it SE. NOW.

This is a direct answer to Nokia´s N97. Not only this new xperia is better than N97 specs-wise, but is cheaper as well.

-3.5´ WVGA OLED (increased from 3.0 from X1)
-GPS, aGPS
-Accelerometer
-Faster processor
-512 RAM
-Custom Windows Mobile 6.5 (SE engineers customized Win6.5 which runs very. very speedy. in par with iphone and better in some cases)
-XPERIA Panels are modified with plenty of innovative features (PS3 remote play being one of them)
-Upgrading to Windows Mobile 7 is supported by Xperia panels

i read all of it. when you use the processor and RAM of a symbian(or other non-WM) into a WM device, it crawls and crashes.

i think its 3.5'' coz 3'' or 3.2'' would be longer not wider. BTW i hope they put some Stainless steel in it not those fake steel paint (N76 for e.g) ..... X1 look better imo but this one could be a moster beast

I hope this does have Remote Play, I think it is a very nice feature Sony Ericsson should put more focus on (it will really highlight the abilities of having a connection with one of the biggest Electronics Companies in the world)

A bit of internal memory in addition to the microSD slot and Sony Ericsson might have a nice top-end device to along with the Satio

It looks nice IMO, but X1 is better, keyboard is great IMO it has arrow keys, what I miss in X1, if they make body out of metal I may change my X1 with this one, I miss a good camera.

I don't understand why SE is fixated with WM. Just dump it already! If it had Symbian it would've been an N97 killer. Alas it doesn't.
