Unhappy Difference between Oiginal & AP SE phone

I'm really confuse about this. How can I tell or know my phone is AP or original set?

Heard some said SE main distributor is Midland in M'sia, but some ppl selling AP phone said their phone is warranty by Midland. I'm really confuse.

Could anyone out there please clarify me? thanks.

(no offend to AP phone user, I'm just wanna know how to differentiate bettwen ori & ap set).

I'm from M'sia too, and as far as I know, AP phones are definitely not warrantied by Midland, try to visit a few more shops and ask around before you buy.

AP is Approved Permit, phones warranty by Ap means that it is not brought in by the phone company's appointed local distrupter, hence they do not have warranty. That means if you got a faulty 6280 that is faulty, u can't go to Nokia and have a replacement.

Ah ok I get it. We don't actually have a term for phones that are not distributed officially. ^^

Hmm I've learned a new today.
