I have to say that Nokia share down to 13 years minimum. Thats not a news anymore. Last week we talked about warning from Nokia which have to be issued and discussed what will be the price of shares. It was evident that they sink.
On the other hand - we dont have any real reason around Nokia to change price of shares so dramaticly in past 6 months. It have to be lower. But not so low as today.
I think that shares react on some stories from Nokia itself.
feb 11 - new strategy. A few days before we saw internal memo from Elop about burning platform (Symbian). People which know that this memo will be online in a short time, have to know that shares will down. For sure. And when you put something online even in Nokia you have to be sure that it will be widespread in web.
I could call it Elop mistake. In any case, that happens and shares down.
After that we have a lot of statements from Nokia - that they have a strategy and bla bla bla. The best way to play with shares to make a lot of statements and after that to show that you couldnt execute them. Why it was a black day for Nokia? Due to one reason - they miss own goals. They denied to provide long-term (1 year) forecast. It means that they dont know what to do and what happens next.
Thats the best way to play on shares. For instance, you officially saying that web is hugely important for the company. And on the other hand you close onlisne shops in Spain, France, Netherlands etc. Controversary.
If you want to build great company then you need to behaive in other way.. If you want to play on shares you make you job pretty good. And i dont think that Elop stupid. His work is pretty accurate and good. Shares down. Thats the plan.
