Hi there,

i'm a new comer here :D
i have a simple question

1. how to hard reset on iPaq 2210
2. what is the difference of soft reset and hard reset? what was the impact to the windows system

I had an iPaq 2210 for a while, but didn't like it that much (due to MS mostly).
But anyway, as an answer to the first question, you can reset it totally by pressing the key at the left and at the right the same time as the reset button at the back of the iPaq. Quite tricky if you don't have three hands, but it is doable.

To your second question, I think the soft resetonly clear the memory and not your saved programs etc. while the hard reset puts the machine into the condition it was in when it came from the manufacturer.

But you should consider bying a device with a better OS, SYmbian is much better for handheld devices ;)

I think that for a PDA, Symbian is not factible... So I disagree with you entirely.
