Actually, its quit a while since the rumors began. I think its deffently real! Siemens' new X65-series has begun with S65 (follower tol S55), M65(Follower to ME65) and C65 (Follower to C55). And rumors about A65 (follower to A55), so why not a follower to SL55?

Looks good, but I was hoping for the SL65 to be a variant of the S65 rather than simply a more stylish CX65.

I think the SL65 is real coz there was once i saw someone using that phone ,it has a white colour backlight so i think that one i saw was a prototype or something.

like nokia it seems they're retaining some of those small screens from previous generation, possibly just speeding them up.

Sorry, but a TFT display with 130x130 pixels and 65k colour, isn't that something new from Siemens? How can you call that "from a previous generation"? Siemens has just started using them..

To be exact, the first Siemens mobile mit a 130*130 Pixel / 65536 colours screen, the CF62, is based on the L55-platform.

it is clear the compeition is using superior screens now, esp SE (t630, K700). T630 is planned to drop in price slowly throughout year (until they announce delayed successor in cheap candybar market (K300). On the other hand nokia keeping small screens but innovating highly in design. siemens handsets will find it difficult to compete.

The SL65 is ok, but the others are as ugly as many of them Nokia's.

Actually, I belive that Siemens Sl65 can make quit a breakthrew. But then Siemens have to send it on the market before Samsung E800, which will be hard to beat, for SL65. Gonna be fun, to watch..:o)

Well I hope they change the colour on the SL65 (if that pic is real) or have another colour which is similar to S65 cause I like that phones colours.
