well of course, the author even said that it is computer generated, there is no doubt at all that it is fake, but the author said that this is based on information that is likely to be true

well yeah it's made on a pc that's 100% but the real question is: is this real i mean is this phone in plans by se? i ask this because if i remember correctly we had a very similar first z200 and z600 pic which turned out to be true..... i don't know the fact that's confusing to me is that they stated they got the pic from a reliable source...

This is great...but im really hopping much more from SE, first of all I want the new p900 to have a diffrenet outer design, I mean I want to see that I have a different phone when I get it :D
Also ptt and qwerty keyboard and wifi wont make it all, I hope SE include an upgraded OS, Landscape mode and may be a slightly bigger screen.
MSD pro support is a must. and a megapixel camera.
But the main thing is if SE want to sell alot of this they should make it different than the p900.. i mean in design in general.
A good desgin is tyhe design of ux50...but I dont think SE will do this :S.

its not a rumour, they really are planning a qwerty P9xx phone, but it does not look like that. It will have 1.3mp camera and keyboard is removable flip (but NOT like in that picture, that's just silly). It's a midterm upgrade, and will have same screen even and symbian 7, and ms-duo/other tweaks, nothing special but still good. the other one (P1xxx) based on much higher spec/screen hardware has been moved later into 2005. I didn't think that one would come out this year anyway.

P1xxx is the one previously referred to with the larger resolution screen. That one is landscape adjustable, very different and still in design stage, lots can change (expect it to be ultimate 3g phone release, shown around this time next year to compete with some similar motorolas). They are reconsidering screen res. and may not move it up from 320x208 as it has little benefits on a phone that size.

Riiiiiiight... I see the N-Gage, 6600 side, and 6230 Nokia logo in there... but what's half a qwerty keypad, top right of a Samsung E700, camera from a Samsung V200, and sharp screen (?) doing on there?

on the P9x0, updated info tells me they really are considering putting in a vga camera again - a model with a larger ccd, so pictures will be same res. but better. apparently its a modular option they can change at the last minute, along with keyboard. the core is confirmed as the same as P900 though. they will be competing on cost with nokia 9500 for now, expect this to be quite cheap, $500 range.

The P9x0 is no match for the 9500.becouse it is a minor update nothing more.

9500 is different it's more a mini-notebook than a phone or PDA.
P9x0 will still be more a combo between phone and pda.
Moto's MpX will be in the same cat. as the communicator series.
