I am sure many of the users here have digital camera. Let's post some pictures by digital cameras. When you post it up, for simplicity, let's first state the model of the camera. and then bracket (ISO, Zoom, Ev, F(aparture radius), shutter speed, temperature(white balance), +-, Type of lens used(SLR)).

example)
1. Cannon 300D (ISO100, Zoom 1x, Ev0.0, F4.8, 1/2000 second, 273K, not applicable, Cannon bundle Lens)

McKinley, one way you can shrink the size of the photos without much reduction of the picture quality is to use adobe photoshop's "save for web" function. As you may know, monitors usually cannot distinguish 32bit and 16bit well. Even though we reduce the quality of the photo, most cases, it is undetectable. You can also easily shrink the resolution of the photo in save for web function. I hope this helps you, or perhaps, you already knew this:)
btw, I hope I can do macro as well as normal cameras. As you know, "nice" macro lens for single lens reflex cameras are too expansive:(

I took it about an hour before, and it was really an amazing experience for me to see an eclipse. It was actually my first time seeing this unutterable natural phenomena.

sunystory@hotmail.com,
please edit your former posts. You can use the IMG code for smaller pictures but please not for megapixel or bigger than 250 kb... please just link these without IMG code...

Wow! Sunstory those are beautiful photos, and you took them with a digital camera? I have a Minolta Z10 myself, is it possible to take such pictures, if so how? DO you know a nice site with good tips to take photos. The photos I now take look so bland, so standard. I don't mean composition, but the light and such.

I've attached a file, I made this without flash, in portrait mode, interior with normal light. It's not sharp, but I guess it's because I didn't have a steady shot. Do you have other tips how I can improve on this shot.

Meaulnes, you can take such pictures if you have any kind of camera which suppports limited manual functions. Most of the pics I take look special just because of the color. The point is that if you change the white balance, contrast, and some other basic stuff, you can get a descent looking picture. As for self-portrait or general portrait, it's not good to use direct flash, because the face looks very shiny (oily lol) due to reflection. I think you can use indirect flashes, such as you block the flash with thin paper. The flash will smooth out and you'll get a good pic:)
Also, use tripod if you need stable picture (for long exposer than 0.25sec)

Thanks for the reply, do you know a good site where I can find useful tips how to do it, what I have to modify and in what measure I have to modify it to get certain results?

By the way, good tip about that direct flash thing... :)
