Can LCD Screen can display fast moving 3D games ?
Coz i have heared tht LCD's cannot display properly games as it moves very rapidly.
So if you a avid gamer should use the conventional monitors.
Is this a Rumor?
Also, i have noticed tht many LCD Screen had dead pixels.
Is it so tht as we go on using the screen, the pixels go on becoming Dead ?
what u all say...? I really need dem !

the answer is UFS
It shows faster frame than PDP for mobile phones
THere is no way for normal TFT to compete with this new standard. It can increase the pixel nine times more than the best TFT screens (CGS)
The color reproduction is around 87% which is twice higher than TFT's.
TFT can play 3D games, but probably not satisfying.
Playing games like Quake 3 on mobile phone will be a hard thing.
It will have to use UFS, which is better than a monitor lcd screen.
The reason that some lcd has bad pixel (dead pixel) is because of the micro manufacturing
Some companies who has nano level manufacturing doesn't make much of these.
And if you find some bad pixels, you can just run up to samsung service center and they will give you a new one, if you are using sdi's screen.

To play a game with todays TFT-displays is not a problem at all, I have a response time of 16ms which doesn't give me any ghost trace on my display.
The only difference which I find worth to mention, is the colour reproduction of UFS display. But now I'm not sure if you mean display to a mobile phone or display to computers or just TFT-display generally?

an_arien_4u iam sorry it is produced for mobile phone
the reproduction color for UFS is the highest among all lcd pannels.
The response time is also the fastest among all lcd's.
I AM DA MASTA OF PC's
ask me anything
for your question: LCD's are coming close to CRT's but for fast 3D games like Doom 3 and Half-life 2 you can naver beat crt's. If you are looking for a new monitor go for one with at max 18ms response time and a dot pitch of at max 22nm
About the dead pixels those are lies they were a proplem with old laptop display but now that problem has virtualy vanished
last but not least look for a good warranty.

patrick_san460,
The reason why things get blurry is simply because of its respons time which is not low.

plus, the dead pixels... they happen in 1/3 LCD screens, so dont give me the "very small number of old laptop screens" <snip>...
dontpannic, No need to be offensive and abusive, especially when resurrecting old threads just to say that.
