Today in France it is possible to buy a Nokia 6820 for only 49 Euro (incl. VAT) with a 12 year subscription.

I like the concept of keyboard but...

- I'm waiting for a 65K color screen
- VGA camera
- memory card support

I heard that aka "6840" will have all this features... But when it will come on the market?

Usually in France mobile phones are more expansive than in other countries of U.E.

The 6840/6850 (both names are being used at the moment) should be out in the september / october time frame.

On the market though there is a possibility this product will be delayed. Nokia is moving a lot of people around at the moment, as it sets up its enterprise division, and the 6800 series is a US development so who knows how they will be impacted. Story goes the 6800 was developed by another handset developer and that Nokia then hired the development team !

nokias waiting for 6820 sales to saturate first. the successor is ready to go, just marketing strategy really.
