Schneider is a lens company known to be the top 2 most expansive expert lenses along with Carl Zeis. While Carl Zeis is usually for medical purposes, Schneider is for astronomical optical lenses, for satelites and so on. they have the brightest lens with Pantex which creates the most realistic image for lens. Schneider is not known to much to general public because of its price. but recently they have made schneider for digital camera, which gives really accurate image. i am not sure of dvd players. schneider is the best :) i think...
i will go for schneider
Will you indeed!! thats not what you say in the more recent (today) thread regarding cameras and lenses?

mweb6161, hah~ Schneider is a lens company. Canon is a camera body and lens company. That's the difference. And plus, Schneider is not a small-format lens, like Canon. Schneider specializes in medium format. I know that you're trying to find some contradictions in my argument. I haven't said anything about the lens in the other thread. You're funny. haha. I want to repeat again, Schneider, Carl Zeis are the 2 most respected medium format camera lens. Canon, Pentax, Nikkor lenses are more known in the small format camera lenses. Nothing is contradiction. The fact that you said it is contradiction is really contradictory!!! :)

mweb6161, I don't want to keep this discussion anymore. Whatever digital camera you like, just go for it. I don't care what camera you have or what camera you buy. As long as you like it, that's the best camera in the market for you. Thanks.

CANON...for the ultra slim, compact, and handy category in the digital camera world:rotate:

You dont care much for accuracy or consistancy either judging by your about turn posted above  ;)

mweb6161, there was no turn there. Lens and Camera are separate equipments. I don't want to discuss this, because you seem not to catch up what I'm saying here. Schneider is a medium format camera lens. And Canon is a small format camera body/lens maker. It's just like comparing the best cell phone and the best computer. You don't make sense. This topic here is about lens. Canon L lenses are indeed good. But it cannot follow up the quality of middle format lenses from Carl Zeis or Schneider. And among them, i prefer schneider. Stop being childish.

mweb6161, let me just ask you. We are not here to assault others. I don't find any logic why you try to find out metaphysical errors in my statements. I think it's useless. Try to find some more beneficial jobs u can work on. As I said, if I assaulted your feelings about Casio, I am sorry. But that was my opinion. If you reject my opinion, then that's all. If you are satisfied with your product, then you are ok. Casio is the best for you. It doesn't matter even if you claim that casio is the best, the best of best in the world, in the universe lol. Peoples have different opinions. I know that well. I have never ever forced anyone to believe in my opinion. If you don't like my stand on non-optical branded manufacturers like Sony, Casio, panasonic and so on, then just reject it. I don't know why you are wasting time looking for my statements. Also, my statement over there was written at January this year!!! I am so surprised that you looked all over the place in flames forum in order to find some flaws. I feel bad for you to waste so much time on this. There are more valuable stuff to do around. If my apology makes you satisfied, I would do that. I am sorry.
I really do feel pity. Talking about mobile=phones here would be good enough. ok?:)

I am sorry sunnystory i was not intending to assault you in any way! all i was trying to do was get at the facts. You offered totally diverse statements on the same subject! in order to give you the opportunity to restore your integrity for making factual statemants i pointed this out. If i make ludicrous and contradictory statements in this forum then i expect to be jibed about it, .you are not infallable and should expect the same!! all of this is offered in the spirit of fun and no hard feeling intended

mweb6161,
How can you start arguing with someone who has pass experiences with camera lenses?
Never try to put the one who has more experience than you in the wrong!
And that's understood.
Shouldn't we keep this "real" as it were.
Chances are if you are buying a compact digital camera or DSLR it won't have those lenses.
Canon lenses and Nikon lenses are good, but are suited to different things. Nikon for short range and canon for longer (if i remember rightly).
No middle standard

That's because these lenses are rather bulky and will not be suited for this kind of compact and slim versions that are meant to be slick yet functional.
These lenses has the advantage of collecting more light rays, but I don't face light loses during photo shooting at dim places with my Ixus IIs.
And I'll not shoot shots in the dark or very dim areas.
I like shooting in bright conditions, sort of makes the pictures look more pleasant like.
Those huge lenses surely captures more light filled photos, so it will be more essential for rapid shots that just require a few chips of a second for the image to be captured, like photographing a racing match.
But I'm not a speed taker, I go for peaceful shots without much disturbance, feels more refresh this way.
Photography is great.

mweb6161, I think we should stop here now. Why would you want to continue. I won't post any replies regarding this. This is so irrelavent to mobile-review. I hope we can have some good cooperation, friend.

GEKZ,
There's so many!

GEKZ, For the best price effective model, you can consider samsung digimax v5. I placed a sample picture in the posting "Post Sample Pictures". You can see the quality of this camera. IT's around 250$. If you want better ones, consider Canon Nikon and many optical companies. They have better ones, but the prices are more expansive.

Hi guys...sort of off the subject but not really, I am buying a D2X and the salesman told me the sima were better lenses than the nikon VR lenses? True or false?

oops SIGMA
sunystory@hotmail.com

No way. Sigma is perceived as cheap economical lenses. Of course, they have good lenses, but not as good as the knife-like precise Nikkor lenses.

Salesman is an idiot...I thought they were supposed to con you into buying the most expensive product anyway...he certainly is failing.
