My diamond is literally running out of battery within 4-5 hours and that with rare talk time on GSM....it's pathetic. (don't get me started on 3G, it's major drainage)

I know GSMarena has pictures once of an extended battery for the diamind that is actually designed by HTC for the Diamond, i think it was double the power capacity, nd comes with a thicker back cover to accommodate the battery(which i don't mind). I looked on the net and cannot find it for sale. Anyone knows where i can get it from? and is it actually out yet?

thanks again!

Hmmm
According to GSM arena, those batteries come when buying a new HTC Diamond phone.
So it might not be possible to buy that battery alone

How much use is that?

I have no problem keeping my diamond running for a day, sometimes even a day and a half, on 3G.

are you serious? do you leave it on standby? lol!

btw, any idea when the HTC Touch Pro is coming out? and would you recommend the Touch Pro or the Samsung OMNIA(i900)? at least the omnia has a good 5mp camera, will the touch pro use the same lousy diamond camera?

Yes, I am serious. I charged my diamond yesterday afternoon, and it is still showing 3 bars in the battery.

I don't call a lot, but I use sms and data alot.

which battery you referring to? the extended battery with the thicker cover? you mean the only way to get it is through when you purchase the phone? that's strange! in the package or separate? i wasn't offered any extra battery when i got my phones!

my god, i called all stores in town and not a single one has the extended battery for the thing. I don't understand how they offer the batteries with the the purchase of a Diamond! this just doesn't make sense!

has anyone here bought the extended battery as proof?

thanks!

Has the battery life really been increased?

and also, by how many hours/minutes?
