Why would Nokia need the 6840, when the 6810 and 6820 are just out, or just coming out???

it's a matter of being up to date, the 68xx series are selling very good and so the make it more available for different users.
Make it with or without camera, adapting the design...

NOkia *cough cough*
Samsungs clamshell with 1MP camera.
I am very curious to see if they will physically show the Mpx220, either way I would still be happy. But if they don't, many Europeans will shift to the 200 because it would take too long for it to get released, since it is a new phone(new version too) in Europe anyways.
I know Eldar mentioned new Symbian Samsung phones. I'm really looking forward to those.

no SE T650 nor Z700 on cibit
T1XX +T3XX
Owwwww, so those are for really later this year. Too bad Aziz. I'll have to switch to another brand cause I can't wait that long. S65 it is I guess. :D

My idea.. If the mpx220 is too far away, I set the camera-idea out of my head, forget bluetooth and wm03' and buy a mpx200 :)
SE T650 & Z700.
T650 will anonced later not in Cebit....
Don't you think the T-series has now been replaced by the K-series? The K700 is the phone that was not long ago still rumoured to be the T650.
No. Aziz says that the T650 is going to be slightly higher than the K700. The T650 will have a Memory Stick Duo slot, a 262K colour screen, a 1.3 megapixel camera and EDGE. His post is somewhere in the Sony Ericsson forum. Why don't you have a look. He says the T650 will be announced in Q4, 2004.
The link to the thread is as follows:
http://mobile-review.com/forum2/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7535
And he also says that it has 100m Bluetooth instead of 10m.
and has this aziz proven himself to be a reliable source of information?

The Mpx200 is the best phone ever, get yourself a nice digital camera and buy this phone. You will be king of your own castle with these two devices.... I know I am. :)

isn't bluetooth an standard radio frequentie (2.4 Ghz)for ...short... distance communication between 2 or more devices (max 7) to connect with max speed of 1Mb/s...
Indeed you can enlarge the 10m distance, but that is unlikely; see underneed why
'The range of Bluetooth depends on the power class of the radio. Most devices are expected to use the class 2 radio that provides 0 dBm nominal output power, resulting in a range of up to 10 meters in an obstacle-free environment. This range is sufficient for cable-replacement applications. When a longer range is needed (e.g., in access points), a more powerful radio (class 1) can be used. Larger power consumption is not a problem if the device is a piece of fixed equipment. With mobile devices such as mobile phones, power-consumption issues are crucial and therefore class 2 is the only feasible option.'

@kristof.vanriet
and what exactly is your point :???:
we all konw that 100m bt is possible, heck look at z1010
and we all know that 1.2 works backward at 1.1
Class 1 Bluetooth sounds great but it means an upgrade of all you accessories if you want to use them more than 10m away.
Only other issue is the complete shortage of chips for class 1 BT.
Wonder when WiFi will replace BT - 2006 ?

i know it's possible, but this compsumes very much power, and this is not needed for the things bluetooth is meant for...
10m is more than enough...

100 m bluetooth will be great to have for many reasons....
you can recive a call with your headset way away from you...like its might be on the desk and your in the garden
aslo in the future we might have great softwares for long distance bluetooth...like multiplayer games with more than 2 players....or you might even send a photo for tens of people in a mall....it will really be great...
Why do u refuse a nice feature like this??
I know it might derain the battery but its for new mobiles which I guess will have improved battery life....
