Somehow the first thing that came to my mind after seeing the pics was BMW. That looks exactly like a new beemer! It has the shark fin on the roof too! But when were are talking about OPEL here, i guess any reference to big germans is a plus though.

BTW is that a concept of new vectra or the real thing? I have seen so many times nice looking concepts of production cars and when they hit the market, the once good looking concept has somehow miraculously turned into yet another butt-ugly car...

some how, i can see bits and bobs of different cars in there... the mazda 6/passat/and maybe a focus.... but it still is nice :D looks nothing like the current vectra though

I'm not a big fan of Opel, but this one looks very good! And I have the same feeling as Hamidi, it seems to have "borrowed" some parts of other cars :D

I'm not a big fan of Opel, but this one looks very good! And I have the same feeling as Hamidi, it seems to have "borrowed" some parts of other cars :D

Opel isn't a brand to BUY.. but it's a good lease car.. I'm driving an Opel for 6 months now and I don't complain.. it drives good.. but I would never buy 1.. :)

In Nederland daalt de waarde van je Opel HEEL ERG SNEL nadat je hem heb gekocht.. is echt zonde.. volkswagen heeft dat niet zo snel.. daarom.. voor de rest is het echt een fijne auto.. veel beter dan Peugoet bijv.. Mijn ouders hebben een astra en het rijdt heerlijk hoor daar niet van.. maar nogmaals tis een lease bak.. geen koop :)

It has a lot of buttons.. I wonder why haha ! I mean the astra doesn't have that much.. Why is opel not doing a touchscreen based navigation.. like volkswagen/lexus..

Heh, just like previous posters i get heavy Mazda 6 / Lexus vibes..
I have a personal problem with Opel though, admittedly based on an ancient Kadett i had that spent about 50-50 time driving and in the repair shop..

Maybe your kadett had that problem.. cause my dad was a kadett lover and had 2 kadetts.. and never had big problems with it.. But Opel changed a lot.. I noticed that since I'm driving the new astra.. Opel ain't a bad car.. I like Opel.. but I would never buy one..

Yes.. this car is coming as Saturn in 2010 to the States..
