Depends on what device you use, the smaller the more compatibility you will have!

For almost all devices, microSD is best. It's the current quasi-standard, without a successor/competitor in sight.

SD cards are widely used in P&S cameras, and CF in DSLR cameras, but that's about it.

MMC is simply dead, miniSD is dying, and all MemorySticks have always been niche players at best.

The best one..... is the one that fits your device.
SD has the 'secure' switch to stop you from deleting your images/music, is very adaptable, it being used in cameras, music players and cellphones, and of course the microsd can slip into the adapter for the same devices, but heck. is so small!

MicroSD ftw.

MMC or RS-MMC is ancient now IMO.

Micro SD, more compatability with other devices, . (You can use the adaptors! :D)

MicroSD i guess, most phones use that.

what happened to Nokia and MiniSD, i thought they were headed in that direction and then they changed to MicroSD?

Smaller card S-S thats all you need now.

MSPD should still be used in larger sonys as it is compaible with; Mylo, PSP, Cybershots and is all in all very handy. (Suppose M2 + Adaptor is just as good but M2 is too darn expensive.)

micro sd has the best quality/price ratio
and you can use an adaptor, which means u can use it as a mini SD also!

...or even a MSDP or M2 adaptor, which allows microSD to be used in Sony/SE devices:

see here (http://www.esato.com/archive/t.php/t-147949,1.html) for M2 example(doesn't K850 come with one of these??)......

I have to agree with the general opinion that micro SD is the best bet.
That is untill I drop one on the floor and a microbe runs off with it. :lol:

That is untill I drop one on the floor and a microbe runs off with it.
Now we need a new memory card type.

how is that even possible? they are to similar in size LOL:lol:

M2 = 15 × 12.5 × 1.2 mm
MicroSD = 15 × 11 × 0.7 mm
