Jurgen Klinsmann has been named as the frontrunner to replace Rafa Benitez if the Spaniard is dismissed at Liverpool.
According to The Daily Mail, the club's American owners 'see the German as an ideal choice should they finally run out of patience with Benitez over what is being viewed as more agitating by the former Valencia coach.

Apart from taking Germany to the final at home what credentials does he have as a club manager let alone for one of the biggest teams in Europe. Rafa came out publically on the weekend after the game and said his loyalty is with the club and the fans and he wants to stay beyond his contract end date. The balls in G&H's court now but there will be a huge upoar if they think they can come in and replace him with Klinsman.
Rafa is in a tough corner. We all knew that once he got the cash he wanted in the summer that he would be under the microscope more but to be honest its still a huge demand to expect the premiership after one season of big spending. Ok Chelsea done it but they spent close to £200Mil in one year. There is definatley some weird things going on behind closed doors but until then all we can do is listen to more crap fabricated stories by the tabloids.
And its not like the owners have forked out that much. All of the Torres money was recouped by selling players after not to mention we got $40mil just from getting to the final last season. With the new TV deals in place for this season 4th place gets at lewast £45Mil not to mention we are in the knockouts now in Europe. I wish DIC had taken over now, at least they might have had the decency to just let the manager get on with the job. Fergie took 10 years before he built a title winning side but the money that was spent in that era is nothing compared to now. So now managers are forced to deliver results in a quicker timeframe and are under more preassure.
I just hope everythings sorts itself out. At the end of the day I care for the club but if Rafa were to be sacked I could see many inportant players leaving aswell - Reina, Torres, Alonso maybe even Gerrard.
klinsmann is going to bayern apparently. إن شاء الله
indup, what does إن شاء الله mean in english, if you don't mind me asking?

klinsmann should of gone as spurs manager lol. cant stand the guy we have now...
think it would interesting if he DID go to liverpool though
No it wouldnt be intersting it would be dumb and ridiculous. Hes overated and isnt in the sort of class to be associated with Liverpool. Sorry guys but no way the fans want him in charge.
lol the fans? Since when do they have an say in the running of a club.
If he is overrated then surely he fits right into the "class" of Liverpool! You currently have a manager who cares more about winning the Champions League than the Premiership to seemingly cement his reputation as a great manager, and that surely is enough to have to consider his future.
You mentioned giving the manager more time after spending alot of money but c'mon that really is a silly statement in this day of instant gratification.
Arsenal have won major things without needing to spend "big" money.

The fans are the heart and soul of the club. They are most famous English club in European history so dont go on about "class" mate. And dont make silly statements such as his prority is winning the Champions League. He just cant get the hang of the league, his rotation and zonal marking polcies need rethinking but at the end of the day hes the manager. Last season we got a record point tally at the end of the season. The year before that we racked up more points than Chelea after September in the league so dont come out with rubbish such as his priority is the Champions League.
Come back when your team wins the European Cup 5 times.
Its true that managers dont get long these days but thats just the way footy is moving. Arsene Wenger is obviously talented in picking out the right players and youngsters but there arnt many managers like him in World Football.
Nice to see another Liverpool fan from London by the way.
Benitez has said himself, that he rotated so that the team was fresh for the Champions League, sounds like prioritising that competion over the league to me!!
He cant get the hang of the league, after so many seasons and so much money?!?! LOL surely then his position should be considered???:insane:
Liverpool got more points than Chelsea by September, well that's sorted then, if only the league season didn't finish 8 months later!:lol:
Last season you got only got 68 points, its the season before that you are talking about. And even then if you look at the history of the league that record points would only have won you the league once in the last 7 years! You got 14 points less last season than the season before!
You are 12 points off the league this season and we are now in January and you have the same number of points as Everton, Aston Villa and Man City, so yes you are an average club league wise. Your Premiership record bares that out. An average club in the basis of the big four by the way, the team least likely of them to win the league.
One final thing, you said what experience does Klinsmann have to be manager, it seems you have forgotten some of your past managers, what experience or class did Roy Evans or Gerard Houllier have? Sometimes its not about class or experience its about having the right person at the right club, and look at Arsenal and Wenger as an example of that, he was managing in Japan when he moved to Arsenal and no-one knew who we was, he was given total control and in 10 years has transformed English football.
