In this interview we are talking with Jason B. Mackenzie, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of HTC America. Some highlights from this interview:

* is HTC 100% committed to Windows Mobile?
* is Microsoft still a partner of HTC?
* HTC to be the first to market with Android-powered phone
* HTC as the only company that has committed some specific release date for the new platform (second half of 2008)
* in which markets will the new Android-powered phone be released first?
* branding of Android-powered and HTC-manufactured phones
* HTC as intermediary between Open Handset Alliance and Microsoft (that is not a member of this alliance)
* support for multi-touch in HTC phones - Windows Mobile powered and Android-powered
* form factor of Android phone

This might also be interresting, Palm finally sees the light. Hopefully, because their hardware solutions are just as outdated as their Windows-Mobile software (I'd choose a Treo 650 above any current WM-Palm solution)

Palm does not believe that Windows Mobile is any good for consumer market
