Anyone please recommend which is best case for protecting this handset? apparently the official one permanently hinders some of the buttons before the clips that grip the phone become really loose.

Try mobilefun.co.uk. They always have a good selection to choose from.

@nancyboy

I use and am using the PDAir case it comes either in flip style or book style and is the one for the original N95 so it needs a couple of days to stretch to be able to close properly by now is fine. I used to use Krusell cases but find these to be better made and use a better quality leather also you can get a in car suction mount that the back of the case just slips on. These can be found easily on E-Bay and from trusted sellers and are not expensive.

you can buy any type of case for your phone
you can buy silicon, plastic(crystal) or leather case
each type has its advantages and disadvatages also
i recommend to buy crystal cover as they do not hide the original looks of phone as well as it protect the phone from scraches and falling down
you should go with the original cases for your phone other wise it will not fit properly and you will be not feel comfortable to use your phone
check all the cases, covers and pouches available for N95 8GB
