Ive so far managed to hold of getting a console all these years. PC always does it for me but even im ow tempted by a PS3 just for COD4.

I was never really a fan of the FF games. They looked very well made though and are visually a treat. Great soundtrack though, if you like that sort of thing.

bavlondon very good story and gameplay too... people said ff12 was too hard but it just more time consuming.. require more thinking .

By the way is FF coming to xbox 360 or is it just ps3 exclusive? Enjoyed FF 7 very much and still hoping that they could make a game as good as that. FFs after 7 were imo just ok, nothing spectacular but then again not crap either.

also he is not only designer but the director of 13th versus... and with kingdom hearts developers.

When I see things like that... I wish I had a PS3... Imho FF XII wasn't as good as the older ones, but still, better than IX.

Yeah, I thought so too... But may I ask whats so good about exclusive game deals? You seem happy that ff is only on ps3? I have never liked exclusive deals a one bit, its always the customers that get the bottom end in those deals.

something that really annoyed me with kingdom hearts.
358/2 is for DS.... birth by sleep is for PSP.

my only choice is buying both systems >_<
if there is both system... i prefer to have a ps3 than a xbox360 tons of my friends got xbox360 because of the same old FPS.
and 80% had a red ring of death.

oh man i love these games cant wait for them to be released.

about the exclusive system debate if i remember correctly square enix did the same thing when they released a branch of the final fantasy range exclusivly for the DS IMHO I think all games producers should release each game for each system as t makela said it is us who pay for it at the end of the day. same as i dont agree with sony discontinuing the PS3 which is backwards compatible with PS2 and PS1 games thus essentially creating a new console with the name of Playstation. eg when Nintendo went from the N64 to the Gamecube this type of action is pathetic and only forces the consumer to invest in both consoles if they want to enjoy all three generations of games. ( sorry bit of a rant and off topic)

the final fantasy series is genius and long may it continue although they havnt managed to create the magic of FF7 and FF8 was a total let down they started raising the standard again with FF9 FF10 FF10-2 was a huge let down along with FF11 but FF12 was brilliant and FF13 and FF13 Versus look sure to be amazing

tommy8252 only the 40 gb version is not compatible with ps2 games... but it plays ps1 games.
