The Renault, why, because it's NOT a Kia :D
7 year kia warranty is a draw, but that's as exciting as it gets IMO.

Yeah, doesnt give me a nice feeling. A car should suit you and the kia just doesnt rock my world.

Ah, you spoiled Europeans!
You would rather give money for a beautiful piece of crap than for a car which is cheaper, better quality (I can`t remember when was the last French car with great build quality- during 70`s ? ) .
No offence to owners of French car.. :D

French small(er) cars are usually not bad, but the larger "family" cars seem to have a curse.. :)

OFFTOPIC: I remember the good old Renault 4- small, great car- favorite for best buy. My dad had one. Once he had a car crash with it. The car was so smashed that nobody wanted to repair it, it finished in rubbish-heap :lol:

I know he didn`t said that small Renault were always great built, but just FYI.

You laughed at our Yugo, and forgot about Renault 4! :D

What a coincidence!
I had to rent a car a few days ago while my car was handed in for service.
Kia Cee'd and Renault Clio 3 were my alternatives.
By the look I would definitely go for Kia but since I'm not so sure about them, my choice eventually landed on Renault Clio 3.
I took Renault mainly because it's the largest brand in Europe and they do reliable cars.
I would however have chosen a German car any day.

Actually just seing the interior of both I find the Kia nicer from the inside.

I'd actually go for the Kia as it is cheaper with a good technology.
Asian Cars have developed extremely in the past 10 years and learnd how to combine quality with low price.
Check the spec list of both and see which offers more for its prize ;)

Cee'd is not cheaper than Clio in Romania. And yes, i know all about the reliability of asian cars, but then again, Clio 3 was voted "car of the year" in 2006 for a reason, right?

To be clear: I'm not against the clio, I just hate the running behind the wow effect and the names :)

FAW drives a Skoda, so brand names dont rate highly in his judgement :D
The ceed is in the Meganes class anyway, or not as the case may be.

I don't want Renault only because of it's name.
+ Clio: smaller car, better than Cee'd on city streets
+ Clio: they give me the car imediately after i pay it. For Cee'd i have to wait for about 2-3 months. And i want the car as a Santa Claus present :D

Those who tell that are soooo wrong. Kia cee'd is the first Kia car developed only for European market and it matches all competitive models in it's class (Golf, Astra). It is also produced in Europe. You should test drive the cee'd and you'll change your mind...

I'd choose cee'd over Clio anytime! Why?
-larger car for the price of smaller
-better warranty (7 years)
-more equipment
-looks better

Ok, here is another cee'd vehicle, called Pro_cee'd (stupid name). There are three different cee'ds avaliable: cee'd (5-door), Pro_cee'd (3-door) and cee'd SW (sporty wagon)

voted for clio, since its cheaper in romania its the best choice
(better looking too ;) .. maybe build quality too)

say .. quick question .. is it true there are tomtom maps for romania ?? (i'll need to go there soon)
