W950i update problem

First of all guys id like to clarify with u guys abt the firmwares on W950i. i bought a new W950 recently but it seems that it was manufactured in 2006 and has a very old firmware. the system info on my phone is as follows -

phone - CXC 162037 R9C001
bluetooth - CXC 162058 R3A01
organiser - CXC 162088 R1BO1
CDA - CDA162014/2 R1B01

now my first question is that are there any firmware upgrades available ? what are the improvements in the succeeding firmwares ? secondly....going by one of the threads in the forum i read that the latest firmware reduced the volume of the earphones so much that even K750 sounds louder !!! so are the firmwares really worth it or is my phone doin fine by itself.

and the last query is that .....when using SEUS the SEUS gives an error of 'incompatible macromedia version'. ive tried installing the latest as well as the older flash drivers but to no avail.whats the problem?a couple of years back my w800 wud connect fine without no hassles.

updates solve a lot of the bugs and problems that appear when the phone is first launched and result in a more stable phone, at some point they start adresing minor problems or bugs or improvements that might not be all that crucial, If your firmware is that old, you probably should update, or at least use the phone as is for a few weeks and see if you notice any problems or annoying bugs, than do an update. My W810 had a bug at first which caused dropped calls. Very annoying! the first firmware update resolved the problem, the next one improved image quality and made the phone faster, but the next update I did in a few months resulted in a volume reduction, making me regret the last update.

as for SEUS, install the latest flash version (Now adobe flash), do a restart and you should be fine. try installing with through internet explorer too.

i think that phone support its discountinued... same as the p990 -w600if your update don't solve your problem you are alone in that :/

The phone support is not discontinued, the phone is. and the very last firmware update for the W950 was release about 2 months ago. you can update the phone too the latest firmware anytime.

Also, he doesn't have any problems for it to be solved.

thnx.the update service does start up now but still unfortunatelly it doesnt go beyond language selection page...whether i choose American english or UK english.can anybody help me out on this one. also id like to know is there any possible way to get my hands on the firmware which is stable and fats enough but still doesnt decrease the volume in any way whatsoever.
