Hi,
I've had this phone for a few months and over about the last month whenever I'm using it to do something (like writing a long text, changing tones, or anything really) it doesn't always do it, but often, the screen will flash white, and after a couple of seconds it'll return to the standby screen, regardless of what I was doing. I've also found if it does this and I try again repeatedly to do what I was doing it will do it more frequently and eventually switch itself off. It's getting really annoying and always tends to do it at the most inconvenient times!
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what might be causing this, is it likely to be a hardware or a software issue? I think, though I can't be completely sure, it started happening after I started using a USB cable to connect the phone to my laptop... and using Nokia PC Suite... could this somehow have something to do with it? I've tried updating the phone software but apparently it's updated to the latest version now, and tried resetting factory settings, but that's made no difference.
The only thing I have noted is since I changed SIM cards from Virgin Mobile to T-Mobile (I bought the phone SIM free), when it did it with the Virgin SIM I'd have to wait a long while to access my Inbox/Contacts again, it'd do the 'Memory status not ready' or whatever it is message for about a minute, but with this T-Mobile SIM I can access all that straight after it's flashed and returned to standby screen.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated, especially info from anyone who's had the same/a similar problem.
