soane28, see samoa?! dude that sucked. they really can only perform for like 30 mins and then theyre gone. Too bad about brian lima btw, awesome tackle though! Wish he could have played for munster, would have been great.

Dude, theyve had that for a while now. The players in the game are getting faster, bigger, stronger. Basically the game at the top level is extremely physical and highly competitive therefore players/coaches must take all possible measures to maximise the "beating" they can take and prolong their exposure to this.

talking of beatings the samoans were dishing it out a bit the other night. the word dirty came to mind.

when i was at school in rugby matches i mastered the art of being on the other side of the pitch to where the ball was. those were the days.

Hehe, yeah I like their style. I'm the same way, not exactly dirty, but I like to dish out late tackles. It scares the living hell out of your opponent. Makes them play quicker, or not at all, and screw up. Completely focussed on the tackle.
Rugby is great, its all in the mind :P

HaHa after nearly 4 dreadful years, we beat the Aussie's AGAIN!!
Ireland and Wales were truely awefull Mike, NZ will win it though, Salvaged a lot of English pride that did. :D

OMG ireland were so bad, its just unbelievable! Well done to England for beating Australia!
As for tonight, I think we can safely say that the All Blacks are gonna win!

last night was awesome, the French were going absolutely crazy!! Great atmosphere in Paris(especially in the irish pub on rue des canettes :D )

It must be so cool to be watching the game in pubs over there.I'm so glad that South Africa is through to the quarter finals by beating Fiji.After Oz was sent home by Fiji,I was nervous for the Springboks.I think that SA can win this!

It was always going to be hard for England after that 36-0 thrashing. But we got to the final ahead of NZ and the rest so we can be proud of that. If that try had been allowed then it might have turned the game but you cant moan about it now.

As theres people talking about this im hoping there are somehere who saw it onITV? Whats the song they play when going in and out of the programme. They kept playing it after the final on the ceremony aswell. Its some anthem but I dont have a clue what it is? Anyone?

Hmmm...didn't watch that.It might have been the SA national anthem.My Aussie mates reckon it's also weird because it comprises of 4 different languages.

No its not the SA anthem its some other thing the always play as the music for when rubgy world cup is on. Damn it does no one know......

Its definatley something British as i saw the same tune being played by a military band on some Royal Marine documentary series recently.
