Moving from S60 to S40

Is it possible to use my SMS (written on E60) on a S40 device? Can those S60 SMS be stored/viewed/altered on a S40 device?

I already encountered this loosing SMS thing when I moved from Windows Platform to the S60 (okay, those system are really different.. but nevertheless... I heard that S60 is already quite another platform compared to the S40)

Anything other data that might get lost or corrupted by moving from S60 to S40)

Back-up all your existing data of S60 on a memory card & later put the card in your new phone (If it takes that card format ) else copy the data on newer card & see it that work !
