Im choosing between cars right not and having a hard time picking. of course being members of the cars sites everyone is very partial to that type of car so maybe you guys will have some good opinions
both are stock pics
04-04 CTS V
bottom line, 4 door CTS with a Vette engine
http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r132/offthecha1n/cadillac_cts-v_2004_02_m.jpg
06' IS350
pretty quick low 5sec 0-60 automatic only
http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r132/offthecha1n/is3501.jpg
cons CTS V has rear end problems due to too big an engine, new shape comes out in 08.
IS350 maybe too nice for me after coming from a mustang
This is what i have right now

well, the lexus is better quality, looks nicer adn is the car i would go for. How much are they btw?
That Lexus car is the best option for you IMO. Japanese cars are better built than the American ones.

they are both about $30k
i agree with the lexus being better quality and I knowthe V will be in and out the shop(im getting a warranty for sure) there is just something about the sound of a V8.
i have to say lexus too
its the classiest
I would turn the Mustang into a classy looking asphalt wrinkler or buy a Skyline.. none of the above choices rock my boat :)
Lexus is the solution of this thread, are you buying it on pay and go or on contract? ;)

Golf 5 starts @ 14.000 dollar there ...
To me the Lexus looks like a mish-mash of Mazda3, Civic typeR and Audi TT..
and the other one like a pimped Sherman tank..
The Mustang is by far the best looking of the three.
Of course just my humble opinion.. :)

Lexus is at the top of the reliability list, and the build quality is very good (can even be said as excellent).

I don't really know if they have the mondeo there. American companies usually sell European made cars in Europe because Europeans can't stand the quality of regular american cars and their design.
I'd broaden my choices although I'd go for the lexus, because I wouldn't buy the cadillac.
i'll go for lexus... more powerful and much better looking...
I think the Lexus is better option>more stylish,more classy,better quality:) !

Unfortunately we don't have the mondeo here, or some other nice american cars that american companies offer in europe.. I really like the Ford Focus ST they have in European countries, way better looking than the Focuses we have here, especially the new ones
european fords are really bad ....
european fords are really bad ....
Not really, the Mondeo and Focus are class leading, and that's coming from a Vauxhall fan :)
keep the mustang but if you going to change the cts the lexus looks like a womans car.

in Australia we have the same rivalry, except it's between Ford and Holden
we tend to get the best from Europe (Astra, Focus, Mondeo coming at the end of the year) but we also get a few Daewoo's rebranded as Holden's (Kalos - Barina, Lacetti - Viva)
in Australia though we get the Ford Falcon & Holden Commodore, now they are wicked cars (or at least Commodore, i'm a Holden/Vauxhall fan :p)

european fords are really bad ....
And they're leaps and bounds better than american fords.
And aren't there any european cars that could be added to the options?

right european fords really bad.
i think the catera touring sedan is a breath of fresh air,
regardless of its dollar coin gaps and fake wood and hard plastics.
lexus as usual, nice, reliable and all that.
man your mustang. it ill. why sell it for middle age auto?

Congrats! Nice car.
Usually I only go for German cars... Once you go Benz/Audi, you can't go back unfortunately :)

Good choice! Grips in a way other cars just can't...... ;)
...and put a decent exhaust system on it...you get ~10% extra power/torque without even trying......
:)
offthecha1n Excellent choice , the Evo X was due soon.
its very well design and an agressive styling ;)
Ah well close enough, good buy! Hopefully the 4 wheel drive will come to good use!
AF, no, it's going to be too expensive for what it offers. I'm gonna try and see if I can get a CLK 63 '06 or '07 cheap, my guy said he might be getting one next month. But I definitely want to change my car, it's already at 95,000km (bought it in February and it was at 78,000), and it's starting to pay more occasional visits to the dealership. Gonna get my leg out of that bear trap before it's too late.
