i watched the Microsoft presentation regarding this, i loved the quality of graphics in the game

however i believe Haze is also an awesome competitor in terms of graphics

I think its the best thing they have done for the series since its inception

they have enough WW2 games available, Call Of Duty 4 is the first Call Of Duty game i have even considered buying (although it is extremely unlikely i will get it because of awesome games like Unreal Tournament 3 & Haze on the PS3)

That does look a bit nice! The only problem I have with COD games is they feel too linear, I hope this changes things a bit.

Yeah Brothers in arms is more tactical but COD is best for Multiplayer imo.

Just ordered it for PC. Im a little late to the COD4 party but im getting ready for a week of work muwahahahah M16A4 droooool, M14 drooooool.

Im on PC. How do I connect to a edicated server? I normally just go via the multiplayer game icon when installing.

AFAIk if you have original game(the boxed one...) you won't have any probs.
Things might get difficult with cracked game

Be prepared for some big downloads (make sure your game is set to accept downloads) some of the maps are in excess of 40 Mb.
Also it might be worthwhile getting Ventrilo The United Crew use it all the time.

I am officially addicted to this game. I just came of a 5 hour marathon multiplayer session. My favourate weapon was the AK47 with Red Dot but now my favourate is the SAW with Red Dot and RPG extras!!!!

I just unlocked the UAV jammer too. Thing is I would have to sacrifice juggernaught perk for it. You reckon its worth it Kaz for the UAV jammer?

I think I will be hearing "A UAV is online!!!!" in my sleep tonight! lol

the single gameplay operation are scripted as hell, when do we get real good A.I. ?? devs arent trying hard enough

If you want good AI get Brothers In Arms, if you dont mind getting killed, get online. I dont think the devs are working with this anymore, COD 5 is on its way.

Ahh this thread has come to alive.
I never played it too much, I'm only rank 28 or something and will not go further up I believe.

It's a shame COD5 is another WW2 game and I don't think the graphic is much improved over COD4. The most anticipated game is Far Cry 2. Looks like to be another revolution again graphic wise.

But COD4 was improved in GFX so I think COD5 wont have that GFX like Crysis/Crysis overhead.;)
COD series is another excitement, I wont mix it up with FC 2. IMHO.:-/
