Nokia 6280 Alarm Help!

Hi

My screen on my Nokia 6280 has stopped working, but the phone still works. So i can ring people, if i type the number in etc. But the alarm still goes off every morning and i want to turn it off. Please can someone tell me, the keys/numbers to press, all i no is that i have to go menu --> organiser (7), but then i dont know what to press after that, please can someone help.

strangely, organiser at my n6280 is at number eight!

Ok, here it goes: press menu - press 8 (wait a few seconds after pressing) -
press middle buton once (to go into alarm clock) - once again middle button (to go into alarm time) - then you press down (to sellect off) - and again middle button to confirm off alarm.
