Hi,i asked everywhere and checked on internet about the XDA Orbit, the problem is the resolution of the camera when recording. The camera can record at S 128x96 and M 176x144 and why not in large? One of my pda's with WM 2003 can do it at 640x480 and this one with WM5 no?Thi is my second pda with this problem.well...:S as far i know the camera version si the 4.03 from HTC technologies.
Someone knows if upgrading this pda to WM6 it will be possible?
I'm dissapointed with that, and i can't understand why there's no option to change the resolution.
I emailed htc, even o2 but they never repyed to me :S
Thanks, and i hope find the answer some day.

HTC made product never had VGA video recording afaik.

If your old PDA running WM2003, it will probably VGA camera, not VGA video camera.

HTC's weak point is multimedia (cameras). Even the most up-to-date models do only 176x144 video recording and 2 MP camera without AF (except for Advantage and Kaiser, but also no high-end video recording)

the camera and video resolution is also a result of the chipset that can handle these resolutions.

you can try coolcamera from www.ateksoft.com to find out more. this software enhances resolution and framerates. never tested but could be something.
