MikLSP i will buy my in around 8 days... waiting for my pay check.. that its late because some things in my country!.
btw: you had any problems with the ps3?
i will buy my on amazon... but i don't live in the US... and sony center refuses to repair anything if it have problem under warranty.
i wanna know how sturdy is :P

Not a single problem with mine, absolutely perfect!

I have personally boycotted Amazon due to their constant cancelling of orders to suit themselves. They have a habit of advertising items pre-release at a lower price, accepting your order only to later cancel it and offer it at a "new" price instead!

As for Sony Centres, they will not perform repairs themselves as they are actually franchised and not part of Sony as such. That of course is just the same as buying from any other shop, repairs wouldbe done by sending the machine back to Sony though that would hopefully not be necessary.

i can either buy it from amazon or bestbuy....
is either that or buying it locally but here the 40gb is 620$... even if i had to pay 100$ to bring it here... still is around 499$... thats 120$ difference!.. enough to send it back for repair or exchange twice. (since sony pays up the sending sadly no the return).
