View Full Version : is this a backdrop in nokia 5300 ?

hello everyone ,
I have bought nokia 5300 . it has internal memory of 7mb and 256 mb external MC.. if we want to get a file via bluetooth which is greater than 7mb ,then the phone does not accept since the file get stored into recived files folder which is in phone memory by default.....just want to know if there is any way to change its path ?? help plzz

The phone will put the BT'ed file where there is adequate memory to contain it. For example, if you BT a 10MB file, then it automatically gets sent to the external MC (assuming there is enough free space on it) instead of the internal memory. This is also what my 6233 does. =)

my 5300 also puts it into the Memory card, make sure you have enough room on the memory card, and that you are running the latest firmware

you mean that ur files are sent to memory card by default or when the phone memory is full ? do i have to change any settings ?

when the phone memory is full, you shouldn't need to change any settings

amishrit, my 5300 rm -147 v3.50 puts the files directly to the memory card any file bigger than free internal memory.
