The battery of Nokia 6300

Hi, I just got a brand new and beautiful Nokia 6300. Luv the looks but the battery , well....:(
I don't know if its only mine,but, if I use it for gameing at least an hour, the battery is like 1/4 charge.
I charge it for 12 hours and if i use it for playing music or photos it's the same. It's just my phone? Should I take it for replacement?

Was it a good buy:confused: , coz i wanted first the nokia 5300 and then i was between the 6300 and de SE k550.

I'm not sure what to advise you, definitely the battery should be better. I find the battery to be fairly good (in modern Nokia terms) - you should get quite a few hours music+calls+general use at least. I've never had the battery go flat on me yet by the evening, normally at worse it is on half charge.

Well, how much is a few hours for you:confused: coz i've played music+calls+general some hours...how much time the battery should last?

Don't want to hijack this thread, but I just got the phone and was wondering what's the best way to charge the battery for the first time? I've heard you should leave it overnight, even when the phone says the battery is fully charged, is this right???

hi guys , I have been following this site for a long time and recently i bought a nokia 6300 .... which leaves me absolutely disgusted because of it's pathetic battery backup

previously i was using s.e k750i and coming from that its such a disappointment , what i got in the trade off is just a better looking phone and a good screen

now that i am stuck with it can anyone suggest some way to increase the battery performance , i am ok with changing to a higher capacity battery if it is available

after all what a " MOBILE " phone is without a good battery :-(
