View Full Version : PS3 Media streaming with DLNA

Since update 1.80 was released, the PS3 now has the ability to stream media from other devices on the network. I've found out how to set it up under Windows and just trying it now.

Make sure you have Windows Media Player 11 installed, go to the library tab and bring up the drop-down menu (little arrow under the Library tab)
Select Media Sharing, make sure the PS3 is on and in the XMB
There should be "Unknown Device", select this and allow.
That should be it!

Yeah i got it working a couple of days ago, from a walkthrough on another website

annoyingly enough, WMA Lossless doesn't work, which is annoying because the majority of my collection are encoded with that, although normal WMA & MP3's work
