So.. what kind of music do you listen to? :jump:
tell me your favorite genre, artists, album etc.. :)

Genre: I'm into R&B.. and a little bit Hip-Hop.. otherwise it would be only slow songs.. but 95% R&B :lol:
Mostly I listen to 0day music.. I like underground artists..

My favorite artists: Boyz II Men, Brian McKnight, Donell Jones, Carl Thomas, 112, Jagged Edge, Avant, Babyface, Tank, Ginuwine, Joe, Musiq Soulchild

My favorite album: Kinda hard to choose one.. but my favorite album of this year = Tank - Sex, Love & Pain (cop that album :))

I started out liking Jazz from the like of Bob James, George Benson. Gabor Szabo and Eumir Deodato in the early 80s until now. Then Classics from Beethoven, Brahms, Rachmaninof, Vivaldi, Saint-Saens, tchaikovsky performed by various known conductors and orchestras from Telarc, Deutsche Grammophon, EMI, Decca, Harmonia Mundi, etc.

Now I get to appreciate other genres like Pop and ballads from Sinatra and Monroe and light rock from rivavalist music from America, Eagles, Carpenters, etc. I've also started to like jazz trio and quartet vocals from Diana Krall, Patricia Barbers, Stacey Kent, Michael Buble, etc.

There are new fussion music combining classics with pop like those from Bond, Maksim and operatic singers with a pop flair like Charlote Church, Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Hayley Westenra, Russel Watson and Alejandro Safina. I also find them appealing.

A few Broadway and Westend productions also appeal to me. My favourties being Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Saigon.

I guess my taste crosses a lot of genres. My only dislikes are heavy rock and some new age music.

out of the other stuff that you like, i like mogwai(you should check out godspeed you black emporer and explosions in the sky), i love radiohead(great band!), and brian eno(did you know that he was heavily influences by the velvets? totally and completely different style).

My favourite genres are nu-metal, industrial, emocore, etc. Most of the artist I prefer aren't easy to listen :D Love Marilyn Manson, OTEP, Slipknot, Bullet For My Valetine, Mudvayne, American Head Charge, Nine Inch Nails, etc much. Also i'm listening to many groups but I doubt that some russian and japaneese names will give you much information.

I advise you to find some songs of these bands and to listen to it. I sure that some of you will like it. What about English and American bands? I listen to such music about 5 years and it became my hobby to collect good music and to listen to it. And I also like to listen to little known bands, because fashion haven't influenced on their creations yet. Can you advise my some such bands to listen to?
