Which one is better?

I used no PDA before. One of my friends offers me to use:
Handspring Visor deluxe (transparent casing). USD 70 ? 80
Handspring Visor edge USD 140 - 150
Palm IIIe (transparent casing) . USD 65 ? 70
Palm Zire 21 USD 100 ? 110
From the items above, which one is worth of the money?

The other one recommends me for using Microsoft OS. But I found it?s more costly than Palm OS.
Is Microsoft OS is better than Palm OS? Is Microsoft OS is faster than Palm OS?
Is Microsoft OS is more reliable than Palm OS? Or better for further expansions only?

Please recommend a product which is suitable for a new PDA user like me? And please let me know the reasons?

Is there anybody knows a website that teaches us to learn more about PDA? What is the name?

Some says that PDA is like a computer.
I?ve owned a PC. But I hate Windows 98. Since it hangs ? always. Maybe my PC?s specification is bad! So, I switched to Windows NT Workstation. Although it?s unable to play games, but it?s always able to help me for solving all the work. And the important thing is it never hangs. So, I swear that I will not use a ?Windows 98? PDA!

Can you recomended a PDA below USD 100?

is Dell reliably? they are just in that part of the marked (there first PDA) and new commers always have there problems... (never tried a dell, but anyway they are cheap)

I have an iPaq 4150, which set me back 300GBP although it is fantastic, use it on a wireless network and well worth the money because I have my laptop set up as an FTP server so that I can access files remotely, videos or whatever else I want if I get bored. The PDA is also lovely and very small.

I certainly advise Pocket PC over Palm as there is more software available and simply it can connect better to a PC.
