Message Help . . ?

I have sony ericsson w850i i gotten a message twice now but when i open it it says downloading message then it says download failed i tried cancellin it but it says cancel failed.Wat sort of message is it and does any 1 know how i can sort it so it downloads,its not spam or anythin its from 1 of my friends just cant understand i have credit and everthin if any one knows thanks alot :)

The only time I get the "downloading message" is when I receive a picture message. If you don't have a data account set up, than it says download failed. Might be the same in your case too.

kk thanx,how do u set up a data account do i need to go on internet or sumthing? cheers

If you got your phone from a network e.g: on a contract, than it should already be set up. If not you need to ask your network for the info like the APN number, Username, password, etc depending on the type of data transfer you want (GPRS or GSM), After you get that, go to settings----> connectivity--->Internet settings, to set up the account. Note that your network charges for data transfer, so you better see what the rate is before connecting.
