another quick Q on the W810i

when I leave my phone idle, the screen dulls down. fine. but when i click the central button a second before my wallpaper comes up the screen is white for a second.. this happen 2 everyone?

haha, didn't even notice that until i checked. its not even a second. It's normal.

in mine, if you let the screen go dark and wait a few minutes when you click on volume, the direction pad or center buttons (among others) it goes to a white screen with just the clock. if you clikc the 'goback' button (dont know its name, below the orange walkman button on the side) it goes to the normal screen....I also wondered if this is normal, though it always worked like that.

yeah thats normal. the white clock is the standby clock, accessed by clicking the Walkman or volume buttons on the side. It's can always be on with some models, but with the W810 because of the screen technology it cant be on all the time. And it's like that with all W810's and it's normal.

thanks divooneh23, it scared me for a while ;-P anyway, w810 is the best electronic I bought since my nomad mg (early days mp3 player). that white screen is somewhat ugly though (they could do the same over black for a better look and I guess less energy cosumption)
