View Full Version : Are the USB cord/earphones/charger on the k750 supposed to be hard to pull out?

Every single time I try to pull out one of these it requires quite a lot of force and I'm really scared it'll break as the pins look really fragile. Is this normal or is something wrong? Is there maybe a better method of pulling it out? I.e. the k500s charger pulled out really easily if you twisted it upwards/downwards. Thanks!

Thanks, goes off much easier now, and can you assure me this won't break the pins? :D

Also I appologise that I made something like 4 threads but I just got the phone today and I think its fantastic :D (coming from a Panasonic x200)

phone should be fine? i seem to go though a charger a year untill the contacts start to get a big dodgy, so not that bad seeing as my phone is charged most nights. :)

I got another question but I'd feel really guilty opening another thread.

Anyways, the phone goes into sleep mode only after about 15 seconds (screen turns off and you have to click the power button) of not using it which seems pretty short, is there any way to prolong it or even turn it off?

it's an automatic mechanism for saving your battery life.
you dont need to press the power button, just press the star * key and then press the softkey. (if you turned "the autolock keypad" on)

Thanks for all the help so far guys, but Ive got yet another problem!

The photos I take from my camera don't look as good as the ones people take with their k750. Ive tried playing with the white light option, brightness and more but can't seem to get the same quality.

Heres an example of peoples' photos from this forum with the 750:

And heres mine:

So I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong? I heard theres a hacked software version of the camera which improves it a lot, is it because of that?

Turn on your camera, go outside and take a few photos. Then in settings go to picture size, and make sure its in 1632x1224 and in picture quality ensure its on fine. Take some more of the same scenes and compare, if theres no diference, then you need to check your software. Using your joystick direction arrows and the * key go >*<<*<* (ignoring anything on the screen)then go to service info, software info, and make sure you have v 4.5 camera info. Im sure its the same as the w800.
If it isnt there is a service to turn your camera into a fully functioning W800, it costs, and can go wrong, so think very long and hard before you do so. One of the downsides is the camera looses 1600 iso (sensitivity) so do a comparison test first.

CRIKEY! thats a higher version than mine, would have thought it would be better. Have you checked your settings? 1632x1224 and in picture quality on fine? other than that I havent a clue, but those others certainly lok better than yours.
*wonders if they have been photoshopped....*
