You can with a W800, so I see no reason why not.
Open up settings, go to sounds and alerts, scroll down to message alert, hit the select softkey and then hit the other softkey that says replace. From there navigate to your desired sound. mines an MP3 that goes "Incoming"<swoosh>"nyehehehehehe" from the game WORMS

Tried doing that mynameis_Kaz, but it didn't work for my voicemail probably just text messages.
