View Full Version : XDA Graphite - Opinions
I'm thinking one of these from O2 Online, just wonderin if anyones used one?
Cant find much decent info about it anywhere. Spec's seem quite good though....and its an alright size, pretty much the same size as the 6233.
Also whats the new windows mobile software like? Ive not used it since Smartphone 2003.....which was awful, slow, and unreliable....please tell me they've made it better?!?
Cheers,
Mike

O2 is pretty much popular among executives and geeks but more for their 2.8"+ PDA/phones. I don't think there's much following for their straight candybar phones though, at least not where I live. And 2.2" qvga with 65k colors is almost a thing of the past with many Nokia phones that now use 256k colors. Just a thought.
I'm not really interested in a PDA phone, i dont find them practical, and i dont need a lot fo the functionality they offer. 64k vs. 256k doesnt really bother me, it makes so little difference on a phone. I dont really want a nokia smartphone either, im not a fan of symbian.
There's not much following for their candybar phones here either, thats probably because (i think) this is the first one they have released (At least in the UK)! The orange SPV's (c500, 550 and 600) have been very popular, but they scrapped launching the c700 (HTC Meteor) because the battery life was to poor. And orange brands them too much.....and i dont want to be on orange, i used to work for them and they charge for message reports.
I'm looking for opinions on what the new windows mobile is like to use every day, and how easy it is to get programmes for. Like i say ive not used MS smartphone since the MPx 200.......and that was a nightmare. Im hoping someone will tell me its improved dramaticly!
