Innovation and new designs, words that are strange to HTC. Everytime the same boring WM PPC phone concept with bad screens (almost 2-3 year the same QVGA 2.8" 65k screen), lousy cameras and speaker/call quality.

AvWijk, LOL... that's a great summary. Exactly my thoughts too! But WM6 might bring some nice changes this year... let's hope so.

Err...#care. I like the i-Mate Ultimate line, only the looks are not my piece of cake. But at least the specifications are impressive, while HTC announces budget Pocket PC no. 984753.. Show some creativity, HTC!

Specifications is not everything about a WM phone :insane:

Specifications is not everything about a WM phone :insane:

Windows Mobile devices are obviously not targeted for multimedia consumers, but more for businessmen, professionals, and so on. There is no single WM device out there with a small 'non-PPC' formfactor, at least 2 or 3 MP AF camera, good JAVA implementation, 3G and outstanding music possibilities. Oh and at least a 262k (now very common) or 16 million colour screen: WM doesn't support higher than 65.535 colours

For WM users a camera is not that important, but a large screen, good connectivity (GPS, WLAN) and input options is.

I don't know about the built quality of these iMate devices but the specs alone are leap forward to the average HTC product, and they come in multiple form factors too.

men, 1 year ago when htc lounched universal (qtek 9000), wizard (qtek 9100) i thought that they will be the revolution in pocket pc's.

but now they have a range of phones that realy suck !!!
even a 4 yeard child can design better then their Concept/Deisgn Department.

it's like they live in the middle of the jungle and never go out in the world to check out the new trends. don't know what's going to be with htc.

this phone (or pda or whatever) looks like a Bosh phone.
remember the old bosh phones??? after seeing this one i'm sure you do!
