Free games for k750i - where to find?

Hi all
I am new to this forum as well as to my newly purchased k750i. It is such a nice phone. One thing though: the games are poor.

So, I have been searching the net to find some free games. It turns out that the official sonyericsson-site charges you for each game. No free lunch there.

Does anyone know of some good sites where you can download free games?

I am not thinking of the newest and most fancy games. Some of the good old games, tetris etc.

as far as i know there mostly free, it's only the data you transfer that you pay for and thats up to your network. I've downoladed quite a few games from SE site for free.

The games from SE are free, [except for the premium ones, like Lumines], you can dl it from the SE site to your comp and then send it to your phone, if you don't want to pay data charges.

Thanks for the fast reply. Maybe I am not looking the right place, but when I go to fun and downloads, all I get is games with a fee.

Thanks - unfortunately none of the games at that site are for a k750i - and more so: they are only accessible through the wap portal.

Does anyone know if there is a hidden page somewhere at SE with free downloadable games for a k750i that afterwards can be dropped on the phone through a pc???

Change your phone and country accordingly.

When you dl any of the games, you'll get a .jad file, open that up in Notepad, and the actual .jar link will be there. Dl that your comp, and then you can send that to your phone via USB or whatever.

I posted this earlier, the link was broken, so i deleted it. But this should work...

Hi again

Sorry for all my newbie-questions.

I have now found, downloaded and unpacked a number of .jar files to my pc.

The phone is connected via usb-kabel and I see the phone alright. I have installed the SE CD giving me an icon in the system tray.

Now the fun begins: when I go to file manager, I get a number of folders on the phone's memory - none of them concerns games. I have other, pictures, sounds, themes, videos.

So, where do I locate the games? Where do I drop the .jar files??

Hey again
I just found one way of doing it: using float's mobile agent and then send to phone.

Then the phone takes care of the rest.

I do not now, however, where on the phone the games are stored.

how do you not have a Games folder? do you have an Applications folder?
