I read the previews on Alcatel OT 535 and OT735. And the only difference I could find was that 735 had a photo album and a digitalcamera, and IrDa. I wonder if there is any other differences?

And does the phone have profiles, like personal ringing-settings? My Alcatel OT500 doesn't have the "completely-silent" function, I must have vibration or sound on both ringing or messages.

Another thing my OT500 doesn't have is the function to deleted more than one message at the time, or deleting a phonebook directory you have created yourself. Is that possible on the OT535 or the OT735 phone?

Maybe you, Eldar, can answer some of my questions too?

I bought one OT535 2 weeks ago and I'm very pleased with it.
It has a SILENT mode (neither the vibrator nor the melody are active).
As concerning the message deletion, you can only delete messages one by one.
However, it is a good mobile (great sound, display, planner, GPRS is working OK). The difference between 535 and 735 will only be the camera.

535 have IRda and photo album too !
but don't have camera and camera functions .
735 will have more memory to store pictures.

- not personal ringing profiles but you have : normal - discret - vibrator - vib, bip, ring - bip, vib - silence. but you can't have ring and vibrator in the same time ...

- you can't delete more than one message at a time ...

- you can delete personnal dierctories in your phonebook or just delete it's content.

I like Alcatel because of its huge phonebook capacity.
I also like very much the platform. Very user friendly.
With my OT 701 I have the following problems:
- It is not a tri-band phone
- It doesn't support more than 2 languages for SMS T9 (English and the one of the country where it's sold).
- When a lot's of information (especially in the calendar section) are stored, its operating time becomes very slow.

Is it the same with OT 535?
Does the synchronisation with Outlook and 535 via Irda work well?

Thank you.

Alcatel doesn't produces phones to the US, so neither of them are tri-band. Alcatel 715 supports English, French, German, and the country where it had been sold, and 535/735 uses the same dictionary. I don't have information about the IrDa.
