It's already released in UK as Vodafone v1605, Orange SPV 3100 & mda vario II

I haven't tried it yet but i'm thinking of selling my Qtek s200 and replacing it with one of these

I have the original HTC TyTN in my hands right now. It's very very nice. Eveything works perfect and fast.

I have had a vario II for around a month now, I still trying to get my head around being able to surf the net whils at work! The perfomance is great. I'm not sure how much faster the the vario it is, but I have no problems with downloading as opposed to other I know who has the vario.

I camera is good, but I was used to a vga so the 1.3 mega pixel gona be a massive step up. Taking pics is feel a little clumsy due to the overall design of the phone but the back light is a master stroke, I find myself using it as a torch!

It holds up pretty well though I have had to soft reset a few times but what the hey.

My previous phone what a sony erricson P910i which I sill miss and cant knock, with the exception of the whole coverter nonsese! But I would stll recomend that phone as it is sOOOO customisable.

But thumbs up the the vario II, small a sleek and you barly notice it in you pocket. Word of warning Dont even think of using the carry case certainly not attached to your belt, I tried it a couple of time whilst in my house and the damb thing works it way off your belt as you move about and especially when you sit down.

The only issues that come to mind reguarding the vario, is the sd card dosn't have a cover and can be removed easily is a fraction of a second by anyone who picks you phone up. And the stylus really is quite arckward and flimsy and become ''lose'' after a while of constant removal.

I'm not the most techie minded, but speaking as a man who has had a number of phones and the old XDA, I would'nt think that any people would have a problem with it's overall performace.

P.S
If you do get this phone, make sure you go to the micro soft site and download the "Theme Generator''. It allows you to customise images and the colours of the various screens ect. Quite good for a freebie.
