I wonder what you guys think about this issue. It makes me sick to find out that after I bought a new phone(which just came to the market) I find out on the website of the company that a newer and better model will be launched soon, like 1 or 1,5 months later.
This angers me immensly, the phone manufacturers don't give the customers any chance to enjoy having one of the best phones in the market. Because a new upcoming phone is already old whenever it sists on the shelf of a shop. Why do you guys think that manufacturers like (especially nokia) brings up so many identicall handys right after each other to the market. For instance 6610 right after 7210 which in fact is almost the identical handy in different (not so different in reality) shape. Then came out the 6100,which is also identical to the previous two but only a little smaller. So if you have a 7210 and you bought it 4 months ago when it was new and popular your phone is considered to be out of date already. Even the 7250 that I have is not so different than 7210. ?t only has a camera and couple of other unimportant features like progmming the right softkey.
It is also the same case (less than Nokia) with SE. The T300 came out couple of months ago and now they have the T310 and altough they are not much different the owner of T300 feels like he owns a old phone.
What is wrong also with nokia that none of the smaller and expensive models except 8910 series have bluetooth. And than the pricy 8910 cannot even work in the USA.
I think that the phone companies lately bring out new versions of exiting models with only couple of software updates and sell them as new phones and since this is much easier than creating a whole new Phone like P800, new updates come a lot faster and make the 3-4 month old models oldfashioned phones.
What do you guys think is the reason for this?

To make money, of course... Not all, but some owners will change their "old" phones to newer ones. Although, i believe, that most buyers will be quite happy with the "old" ones... So what? New phones appear every month, and i'm not Bill Gates to afford every new phone that comes out :)

haha thats true but at least nokia shows their upcoming phone and launch date on their website while samsung didn't. So not long after I bought my samsung phone, a new one appeared!
