I live in HK so I thought I might give an opinion...
Innostream phones are pretty attractive, especially for the price.
The Innostream 80 costs $330USD
and Innostream 90 costs $410USD,
both are prices without mobile operator price discounts (since innostream products aren't offered by any HK mobile operator)
Both models come with an internal 260,000 TFT screen and an 65,526 STN screen. However, when placed alongside the GX22, the image is more grainy, but it still looks real good.
The digital cam for model 80 is a 0.11mp CMOS and the model 90 comes with 0.3mp CCM (It's just a slightly improved CMOS with a fancier name) Haven't seen enlarged versions of images taken so can't comment.
Both models come with the 64-poly-tone YAMAHA chip, and it sounds really nice (can convert MP3 direct to ringtone) although I found it a little quiet.
I'm don't really like the internal look or feel of the model 80 keybad, and I think the exterior appearance of the model 90 looks cheap...
Only problem for innostream is that smartone (exclusive providor of Sharp GX22) is now offering a christmas promotion, with a GX22 costing only $380 USD for subsribers. And other phones such as the T610, Z600 and other camera phones are dropping in price with the release of T630, N6600, etc...

how much memory does it have?
does innostream have bluetooth?
i actually liked the design of the inno 90, but i only saw pictures... ;)

I think only 3mb....but I'm not too sure since I only played around with one at a store...and I heard about this 64mb sharp LRS thingy...but I doubt 64mb =P
Oh and if you're intrested in the phone, then I suggest you wait for a version supporting Java is due early next year I think... as for bluetooth, none.
Nutzu:
Couse my friend got one innostream, And as I said the quality was not real good.
Maybe they have been better now, couse my friend bought it from china a while ago..
SilveR9 a while ago..... means??wich one he bought??maybe the old ones i was talkine about the new ones inno90 and inno80
I have an innostream 90 phone.. actually it's pretty good.. the design is comparable to samsung.. I previously owned a samsung V200... It's a lot smaller and lighter than the v200 and the external screen is 65k and the internal screen is 262K.
As pointed out in one of the posts, MP3 can be converted to be made as a ring tone... The keys are spaced as such, so those of you who have big fingers like i do, need not worry about pressing the adjacent buttons...
It doesn't have java, bluetooth or ir.. one of my gripes.. but i was able to purchase a data cable and that's what i use to transfer pics and ringtones to the phone.
The camera is good... more than the v200 can offer because in dark areas, the v200 usually have white lines around the pic while the inno can take pictures even in low light conditions, and you can adjust the contrast and choose form a variety of sizes, from 640x480, 320x240,160x120, 128x160 & 96x64. There are also effects like b&W, sepia, blue tone, negative... plus there's a multi shot function like the one offered by E700.
Games on the inno90 are wge games.. not java.. i still haven't found a site which offers wge games.. but they're better than java games and some of the games are addicting...
if you have any questions just e-mail me at furball@eudoramail.com and i'll try to answer you're questions... i'll try to post some of the photos i took with this phone... and also make an extensive review of the phone by next week...

Hi! This is another GSM korean company. Something like Maxon. They only make GSM based on CDMA techs. However, Samsung has different departments for CDMA and GSM, so GSM products lag behind. This company, innostream, cannot beat Samsung at all. This company in fact derived from samsung electronics. If you look carefully, i believe the CEO was an engineer in samsung semiconductor.

inno stream cannot beat samsung, because of the reasons above. It is a local korean company that failed to gain 1% market share in korea. I think companies like Innostream and Maxon usually make phones for Motorola or Nokia in Korea, because Moto and Nok usually lag behind the local competitors like samsung. If innostream are aggressive, i believe they have potential to gain more world market share, by absorbing market shares from Nokia or Motorola, because they are better. But I am not sure about Samsung.

SilveR9 Yes. you are right, innostream may not be the top in world cell phones, but they are indeed better than other competitors like Nokia or Motorola. I am sure about this because, Nokia nor Motorola don't make phones in Korea directly. They usually ODM from venture companies such as Innostream. But they aren't the best.
Really? But i think innostream is quite good, from its outlook to its functions and i can see that more and more people are using innostream phones. If I haven't bought GX22, I may consider it too

Yes. But the potential they have is much lower than that of samsung, and probably SE. Companies like Maxon and Innostream usually rely on LG electronics and Samsung electronics for mobile technologies. I think Nokia Motorola Samsung LG ericson and siemens (And Qualcomm) mostly have patents for mobile technologies. And innostream heavily depend on the two giants i mentioned before. Innostream phones are good and reliable, but they know that those two companies earn more by lose their markets and earning by royalty. For the same reason, Nokia cannot make as much net earning that of samsung or LG, because they pay royalties for their screen and flashmemories.

Inno 90 is a very good phone,I've tested it and may get it today:)
I have never heard of Innostream, but the phones they make seem quite good to me. There is a company in Holland wich sell Innostream phones. (inno 100 = 280 euro)
Are those phones cheap if u compare them to e.g. Samsung?

I like the Inno 75 (slide). It has a lot of pro's above the Samsung E800 (mp3, tuner, tri-band...) But I don't know anything about the screen of the Inno 75, except the 256k colours, but it seems smaller than the one of the E800. I don't know anything about it. If any-1 can give me more info on the Inno 75, live pics / cam pics, screen resolution, whatever, you're welcome!
I know about the specs given at gsmarena.com.
In my opinion Innostream is really trying do their best and I would not be surprised if they make a nice éntre in Europe these months - btw you can find some live pictures of the INNO90 and most of all the brand new INNO55 right here:

if i want to tranfer information(j2me) , How i can do ?
For those considering an INNO 90 here's a short review.. I used the inno 90 for about 5 months;
GOOD POINTS, STRENGTHS.
1. the reception was stellar, despite what I read on Howard forums about ppl in the USA having bad reception, I had awesome reception.
2. camera was good and refresh rate was good. but now using he 6600 i realise that the camera was only average. i would like to show u pics of the photos I took with the Inno 90, but no DATA CABLE, NO IR, NO BT... go figure. it must be mentioned tho that the photos look GREAT on the phone screen itself. can store over 200 pics if thats all u use at the highest 640x480. videos take up the memory lots u can only store 12 max i'd say.
I took photos off my LCD screen and used it as wallpapers and you can't even tell that it was a photo, you'd think it was downloaded from somewhere. so thats an indication of the quality, u can see this on the photos. not bad but not the best by far.
3. Video is OK.. but no sound. despite the advertised 10seconds, it can actually go up to 20 seconds. it depends on what your taking. IF you take a stand still video of a plain wall then it'll go to 20 secs for sure, but if u take a clip whilst in a moving car then it won't go up to 10 seconds or maybe just reach that mark. video get really choppy when taking fast clips. only good for taking panoramic landscape videos i think.
4. STURDY flip. yes the hinge is solid as.. and you can flip all you want, it won't go loose, however the silver finish will be damaged in the region of the hinge, i have photos of this.
5. the external optic fibre light bezel is nice.. i counted more than 7 or 8 colours which was advertised.. it can also turn red if u hold the volume button long enough.. usually u don't see red. the silver portion of the light however flakes off easily as u can see in the photo.
6. 64polyphonic with yamaha sound card.. the sad thing is that i never got to use this sound card cos all the downloadable tunes didn't go up to 64 poly.. and plus no IR, no BT no DATA cable..
7. Phone turned off for no reason whatsoever when i used the large battery, on the slim battery i had no such problem.
8. USER friendly UI, u can see the main menu at the front, nothing tricky about the UI.
9. the blue button in the middle is an 'OK' button even though it says WAP. so its better than the samsung in that respect.
10. STURDY buttons.. although i did notice that the menu button was a bit lower compared to the other button on the other side.. but not a big deal... i'm just very observant.
11. very affordable.
12 the 262K screen I'd give it a 7.8/10... I'll be honest, you CANNOT tell the difference between the 262K screen and 65K.. they're just colours.. and i've come to the realisation that 65K is plenty enough...the resolution was good but no way as good as the 6600 screen which i can say is superior resolution wise. the important part is the resolution (in my opinion)
13. External 65K screen was good, but not good for use as a picture caller ID. the reason being that its horizontal not long. so the picture of the face is has to be really small to fit onto the screen.
14. Nice loud ringtones, ones that you can hear in a club even.
NEGATIVE POINTS.
1. the actual white coating of the cover started to flake off after 4 months of normal use.
2.dust would get under the external screen and would require a marathon procedure to remove the front cover and remove the dust.
3. text messaging was INSANELY slow.. and once u get past about 130 characters it gets VERY INSANELY slow. i heard that firmware upgrade could fix the problem, but INNO USA and INNO MALAYSIA told me that that was not the case when i emailed them about firmware upgrades.
4. the memory is 4mb shared, if u delete the video which came with the phone then the total memory u have for camera and video is about 3.225 MB if i remember correctly.
5. The silver part of the phone also wears off exposing the plastic substrate. lets not forget that you can't get replacement covers for these like the nokias.
6. battery life was not great, it was 'just acceptable' I thought that it was good until I started using my 6600, which has substantially better battery life. and you hear so many ppl complaining about the battery of the 6600!! the standby of the inno 90 was 2-3 days on the slim and 3-4 for the large battery. upon using the camera the battery will drain like crazy. I thought that was normal until I started using the 6600 where i could record entire 30 mins non stop video. the inno 90 would drain out after recording about 30 video clips each of 20 seconds max.
7. inconvenience with the data cable.. no BT, no IR... i mean what the #@$@
8. NO JAVA, the games u get with the phone is all you'll get, i made it a mission to search for those WGE games and couldn't find it.. finding games for K700 and 6600 will take u 3 mins on the net, but for the inno 90 will take you 10 months and u still can't find it.
10. had to carry a spare big battery all the time. unacceptable when your going out and travelling light.
11. NO DICTONARY on the sms. very inconvenient.
12. phone support alot of formats which is uncommon and difficult to find.
13. exterior feels very cheap. If you look at the phone alone then its all good, but once u have it beside another fone say a Samsung.. then you see that the external materials used is rather cheap looking.
14. size wise it was good.. but a little on the thick size if you consider the proportions.
15. no themes, so you can't use the display to the maximum potential.
16. No expandibility options, due mostly to no JAVA.
Conclusion.
The inno 90 is a good phone if your' into taking pictures, flashing a rare, uncommon phone around and drawing attention.. however you will pay the price for having such an uncommon phone, as there is no WGE games around for free download for instance. If you do buy this phone the DATA is cable is essential. the preinstalled ringtones on the phone are very childish and 'girly' so even though there is 65 ringtones there was only 3 ringtones that I would even consider using. If your the kind of person who likes to do things with phones like transfer files and install JAVA games and application like those of nokia then this isn't the phone for you. i have enclosed some pics.
Here are more pictures................................
and more pics...................................
this is the last lot of pics ......... too bad i don't have any which taken from the camera. from the ones that i saw on other forums its equivalent or maybe slightly worse than the E700... there is no dedicated night vision mode on the camera but it does take pics well in the dark, no doubt~
u can also use the external screen as the view finder but the quality is horrible and choppy as u can tell from one of the pics.. compare that with the viewfinder on the actual screen.
DC2839 = viewfinder.
DC2810 and DC2848 = normal viewfinder, i was in a dark room so the fact that you can still see through the viewfinder is quite impressive. u can also have preselected frames..
DC2846 = MMS.
DC2827 = shows the silver part of the external screen coming off, its not a scratch... the paint job just came off.
DC2819 = photo i took off LCD which i use as a wallpaper, as u tell the quality is quite good. and u can't tell that its from a photo.
DC2836 shows the silver paint coming off the hinge region, it was only evident on the left hinge.
Also note that each colour theme came with its individual wallpaper.
