I-Mate JamIn VS O2 Xda Atom

All I really need is to check my email via this PDA when it is connected to my Billion 7202G ADSL wireless router. I dont want to have to boot up the computer.

Which of these two is better?

well.. about the wi-fi, there seems to be no problem in both.. however, in JAMin the wireless is better and there are 2 choices and one is faster as far as i read..

for the overall, according to the reviews i've read on the internet, eventhough XDA Atom has better spec. its speed and camera is said to be really bad, and it is told that it freezes a lot.. but about jamin there seems to be no problem..

Jamin and atom are PDA phones (with touchscreen) based on windows mobile 5.
Nokia N80 is a smartphone (numerical keypad but no touchscreen) based on symbian S60. N80 is smaller, has UMTS, a 3MP camera and higher res display. Jamin and atom have a bigger display, USB port and *should* have better processors for a better multimedia experience and multitasking. Both have wifi but the lack of stylus and the small screen will make web browsing on the N80 more difficult. Also, to edit documents, you will likely need an external keyboard, since the integrated numpad with T9 will be insufficient.

Want a PDA with phone capabilities? go for Jamin or Atom
Want a phone with multimedia playback and document viewing? go for N80

I had a 02 Atom for 2 weeks and sold it. I hated it! Software is too slow even though I had the latest software upgrade. Camera is just hopeless and overall it?s too cumbersome. Multi tasking is just a waste of time! I have to admit the screen is great and speaker phone function nice and loud.

I thought I was going to upgrade from my SE P900, but that was a mistake. Back to old faithful & its bullet-proof. Just going to wait for a P990..........
