is this the way moderators on mobile-review are...

the entire following post was made by a mod aka memzee :

Are you on drugs?

Could you not have just created one W900i thread and asked all your questions in there instead of making 987938475872634 different threads just to ask questions?

is this how people are treated on mobile-review ? ? ?

who/what gives a mod the right to accuse someone of being a dopehead ? ? ?

this is the link to the thread :

Actually, he has every right to be like that considering that the poster has been told many times not to do stuff like that. If you knew the history you would understand.

And i am getting sick and tired of members starting moderator gripe threads!! If a mod does something YOU dont approve of, converse with the MOD by PM!! If your still not satisfied then send a PM to an ADMIN.

i must admit that the mod was right.. is a common thing to get warned on boards for opening 476447984 threads about the same problem...

well, even if the guy had been forewarned about making multiple posts, it still doesn't give the mod the right to assume that the guy is on drugs.

if the mod defames someone in the open forum, i don't see any reason why i should pm him. if such threads get someone sick & tired, then he/she can choose to ignore the thread.

warning an offender is one thing & accusing someone of being a dopehead is another.

sun, he isnt really accusing anyone of being a dope head or even being on drugs, its just a phrase and not one to take literally.

Good old Marwan uses quite racy language on here and on Moblileburn.com, Memzee was having a joke in the thread to which you refer, and i would object to YOUR calling HIM a racist too!!

WTF
Sorry for my language but, are you marwan's lawyer or what?
The guy (MOD) was using a metaphor, which does't necessarily mean that he is on drugs. Ok somehow mod's are required to be polite, no doubting that, but to explode the way you did is not OK also, especially if the issue did not concern (involve) you. As for callin' somebody racist, you should back up your statement, 'cause Memzee might be moslem too, don't ya think. Just my 2 cents

Cheers

1. "Are you on drugs?" is a figure of speech and not something to be taken literally.

2. I didn't accuse anyone.. I asked a question. If I had put "You are on drugs" that would be different, but I didn't. You, on the other hand are actively calling me a racist, and having a go at me for making assumptions and accusations.. go figure.

3. I guess if you don't know me (which thankfully you don't), you could interpret what I said as me being serious. It was meant in jest - whether you find it funny or not.

4. I'm not a racist, I live in England and I belong to an ethnic minority myself, besides the fact that I'm muslim (even though I don't actively practise religion).

5. marwan74 didn't take offense, so why should you? Who are you? His online bodyguard? He has the ability to type, and could dispute what I put himself if he wanted to but has chosen not to - have you nothing better to do?

6. What do you aim to achieve by posting this thread? What's the purpose? Moderator flaming? Did you hope more people would jump on the bandwagon? I'm sorry it didn't pan out the way you wanted it to.

7. Was your sole reason for becoming a member of this forum to flame? It certainly looks that way.

This is how I see it, sunshine: You need to go find yourself a hobby, like writing letters to newspapers and complaining about the stories they publish, pointing out spelling mistakes etc or watering your garden or something. I also think you should learn not to have such a chip on your shoulder. I can't believe you managed to link what I put to a race issue - are you on drugs?

I hope for your sake that if you choose to post here again in the future, your threads/posts are more constructive, although I think you'll probably be too embarassed to - I know I would be.

That is all - I can't believe I've wasted this must time replying to this joker.

You should see the mods on Teesside Counter Strike forums.
The use of the word gay got me banned once and from all their game servers!
But, I'm a regular now and get away with a hell of alot more :p :D
