Motorola V300/Motorola V525?

worth spending the extra money to get the V525?

in terms of their camera capabilites aswell- is there a lot of difference between the camera of the V300 and that of the V525?

i want to buy a phone in the next day or two so quick advice would be appreciated.

ps- is it just me or do others think that the size of the screens on motorolas (and samsungs) are a bit small in comparison to the sony ericsson t610 and the sagem phones.

i'd prefer a bigger screen.

If you don't need Bluetooth or Quadband functionality, the V300 would be perfect. Everything else, including their cameras, are identical.

Yeah, well I considered buying the V525/500 too but I realized that Bluetooth isn't that useful. Quad band is pro'lly only a good thing if you wanna go anywhere on earth and use every network or something.
Besides, I think the V300 looks nicer, but that's my personal opinion. Oh by the way: V300 is quite heavy! I noticed when I could hold it in a store. I don't know about the V525 but that's probably the same.
The V300 is not big, though. It's much smaller and thinner than e.g. the V200 (samsung) but a little bigger than the E700. If a external antenna might be a problem: u can buy a really tiny mini antenna in loads of stores on the internet. You almost don't notice that the phone even HAS an antenna then.

how is the camera quality of this phone in comparison to one's such as:

sony ericsson t610

samsung V200

sagem myV-65

and the nokia phones.

i was told the motorola camera's were not that good quality.

The Motorola's cameras are better than the T610's and V200's, but poorer than the Sagem's.

Read from some threads Sagems VGA cam is good, the quality only a bit below Sharp GX20/22... :-/
So, probably it is equal or a bit better than Samsung's VGA cam... :)

The Motorolas' cameras are technically identical the the E700's but in reality are much poorer in quality.
The Sagem's is very good mainly because it uses CCD technology, whereas the Motorolas use CMOS cameras.

Oh just a smal add: the Motorolas' screens have very high resolutions! 160*220 or something.. I'm going to buy the V500

Yes, 176*220. However the Samsung E700's screen has better colour saturation which makes it appear better.
